For the 1st month you are able to take advantage of our FREE offer within the eCatalog. You can update your products onto our site, allowing thousands of people within the industry access to view what you sell.

There are 2 ways of getting your eCatalog on CoinOp Now.

1) Follow the instructions below to upload your eCatalog.
2) Call us on 0845 5200 123 and speak with one of our team about us creating the required file for you. There will be a charge for this service.

 

Step 1: Open your spreadsheet application or text editor

Using a spreadsheet program (such as Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc) makes it easy to create a feed and convert it to the proper format.

Here are a few sample files to get your started:

• Sample file in .xls format (Microsoft Excel)
• Sample file in .ods format (Open Office)
• Sample file in .csv format (any spreadsheet application or text editor)

Step 2: Create a header row

On the first row of the spreadsheet/text file enter the column headers (attribute names). The column headers are:

• product_url
• name
• description
• image_filename
• price
• currency

If doing this in a text file please seperate them with a tab (usually the key above Caps Lock)

Step 3: Enter your item information

The product_url is the direct link to the product - e.g. http://www.sample-url.co.uk/sampleproduct.html

The name is the name of the product.

The description is the description of the product, all on one line.

The image_filename is the direct link to the image for the product - e.g. http://www.sample-url.co.uk/sampleproduct.jpg

The price is the price of the product as a number with a decimal - e.g. 29.99, 45.00, 1.99

The currency is the ISO 4217 Currency Code - e.g. GBP, USD, EUR

(If doing this in a text file please seperate the information with a tab)

Step 4: Convert your file into the appropriate format

Using a spreadsheet: go to "File" -> "Save As..." in your application and make sure the "Save as file type" box at the bottom says "Tab-delimited text file" or similar (this will vary depending on the application used). Give your file a name and click "Save"

Using a text file: Go to "File" -> "Save As...", give your file a name and click "Save"

• Sample file in tab-delimited .txt format

• The file must be tab-delimited plain text.
• The first line of the file is the header - it must contain attribute names, separated by tabs.
• One item per line; separate each attribute in that line by a tab.
• Do not include trailing tabs at the end of lines.
• Do not include tabs or line breaks in the attributes themselves.

Step 5: Submit your file to CoinOp Now

Fill out the following form and browse to the file you saved in step 4.

Submit the form and one of our team will check it over and submit it to the eCatalogs.
